53-year-old man beat younger brother, 50-year-old to death
In Zaria City, Kaduna State, an older brother named Abubakar Aminu allegedly beat and killed a 50-year-old man named Sani Yusuf.
The 53-year-old suspect attacked Sani at their home in Rimintsiwa, Zaria City on April 4, 2025, according to security expert Zagazola Makama.
Tragically, the victim did not survive the medical treatment he received and died at 4:50 a.m. on April 10, 2025, despite being taken to ABUTH Shika.
The assault victim’s condition worsened while he was receiving medical attention at the hospital, and he eventually passed away.
In accordance with the traditions of the community, the deceased person has been laid to rest by the family. Abubakar Aminu, the suspect, ran away from the scene of the crime after it occurred, and the authorities are still searching for him.
Ongoing efforts are being made to put him under arrest. Investigations are being conducted to investigate the circumstances surrounding the altercation as well as the suspect’s motivations for the incident, which has been categorized as a case of culpable homicide.
