APC chapter in Ogun State has lost its Publicity Secretary, Tunde Oladunjoye
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chapter in Ogun State has lost its Publicity Secretary, Tunde Oladunjoye, who passed away recently. At the time of his passing on April 4th, Oladunjoye was 58 years old.
He was confirmed to have passed away by his family in a statement, and they stated that the details of his Janazah will be announced at the appropriate time. Previously, Oladunjoye served as the chairman of the Ijebu East Local Government governing body.
During the election for governor of Ogun State in 2027, he was also the running mate of General Tunji Olurin.
During the year 2023, Oladunjoye was appointed to the position of Senior Consultant on Media by Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Governor of Ogun.
In addition to that, Oladunjoye served as the assistant publicity secretary for the Directorate of Strategic Communications of the APC-Presidential Campaign Council for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Additionally, he was a member of the publicity committee for the APC presidential primary.
He was appointed by the Federal Government to the strategic media communication committee of the Agricultural Transformation Agenda (ATA) in 2012 and served as Media Adviser to former Minister of Agriculture Akinwumi Adesina from 2012 to 2014. From 2016 to 2018, he was national media consultant to the World Bank/FGN project on FADAMA III Additional Financing Project.

Oladunjoye was a board member of Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, a member of the Governing Council of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), chairman of Ogun State Television (OGTV).
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun mourned Oladunjoye’s death.
Abiodun was shocked and saddened to learn of the erudite spokesman and chief consultant to the Ogun State Government’s death in his youth.
He called the deceased a straightforward, down-to-earth, consummate politician who stood gallantly and unwaveringly by any cause he believed in, stabilizing Ogun APC and government circles.
