Wike vehemently refuted the claims that he had suffered a partial stroke as a result of too much alcohol.
According to the rumors, which were extensively disseminated on X, Wike was rushed to an unidentified hospital for treatment after collapsing at a function that took place in Abuja previous Friday.
After a few days had passed, Wike made his first public appearance when he joined other notable people at the Presidential Villa to pay tribute to President Bola Tinubu during a Sallah service.
Wike gave the impression of being in a good mood throughout the visit, which further laid to rest any concerns regarding his health.
Lere Olayinka, who works as his media aide, had previously stated that the reports were untrue.
