FICTION: Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu, has suspended the Minister of Power and appointed the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu as acting Minister of Power.
This was made known by a source ( non-credible ) at the presidential villa, Abuja. According to the source, the power minister’s suspension sterns from a petition written to President Tinubu by the Association of Electricity Saboteurs and Darkness Agents of Nigeria.
In the petition, the association complained about the Minister’s approach to electricity revamping and improved power supply to homes, businesses and institutions.
The Association hinted their displeasure against the powerful minister in a petition to President Tinubu signed by it’s spokesman dated 1st April, 2025. ” Our activities have been disrupted by this powerful Minister of Power. He is powerfully dealing with our members. We can’t freely do our nefarious and criminal business again. He assumed office and ordered clampdown on us. Many of our members have been arrested, prosecuted and jailed. Even the witches and wizards are complaining, they can’t go freely to meetings at night because of illumination in most places. We are in severe pain. Adelabu has caused us pains. Despite our efforts at sabotaging his works, through vandalism, national grid collapse, electricity theft etc just to frustrate him, he appears extra determined. He is a nut too hard for us to crack, hence, we petition you Mr. President to quickly sack or suspend him. ~ Mr, Dark Satani “
The suspension of the power minister with immediate effect is expected to last for a day.
First Lady Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, upon hearing her appointment on social media hurriedly went to Alaba Market in Lagos to get Tester, Pliers and other electricity equipments.
Meanwhile, the first lady has been bombarded with congratulatory messages on her new appointment.
it is however unclear if the first lady would officially accept the new role or decline it.
