“I’m extremely happy and relieved that we’ve achieved our goal of gaining promotion to the Turkish Women Super League,” Shittu said during a chat with sports journalists on Saturday in Ilorin, Kwara state. “It’s been a long and challenging journey, but our hard work and determination have paid off.”
Shittu, who has been instrumental in Giresun Sanayispor’s success, praised her teammates and coaches for their contributions to the team’s achievement. “I’m proud of every single one of my teammates and coaches.
