The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the selection of participants for the inaugural batch of its CAF B-License Coaching Course, set to commence in April 2025. The NFF’s Technical Department has identified and notified the successful candidates for the four-month program, which aims to enhance the skills of coaches nationwide.

NFF Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, confirmed the development in an interview with thenff.com, stating, “Those who will take part in the first batch have been selected and contacted.” He urged all applicants to check their email inboxes, including junk and spam folders, for crucial time-sensitive details about the course.

Scheduled to run from April 7 to August 25, 2025, the CAF B-License Coaching Course will be delivered in modules. The NFF plans to select and contact participants for the second and third batches in the coming weeks, following the closure of registrations on February 25, 2025. Eguavoen noted that the program, open to both men and women, received an impressive response from applicants.

This initiative follows the NFF’s successful organization of a women-only CAF C-License course—the first of its kind—between July and September of the previous year. That program saw 30 participants, including several former Nigerian international players, complete their training.
