Atiku stressed that it is not enough for the government to ask citizens to prepare for harsh economic conditions. Instead, leaders should initiate interventions that ensure the wellbeing and welfare of the people are sustained. He reminded leaders of the practices of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW), which teach about the obligations of leadership to the people.
Atiku congratulated Muslim faithful in Nigeria and around the world on the successful completion of Ramadan fasting. He described the completion of Ramadan fasting as a blessing from the Almighty. Atiku also reminded Muslim faithful that the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr should be an opportunity to continue intensifying good deeds and praying for progress in their private lives and that of Nigeria.
