During a Friday news briefing, Nweke accused Fubara of ordering bombing of the state House of Assembly facility in 2023 to avoid impeachment by members supporting Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike.

He claimed to have seen Edison Ehie, a former Assembly leader who later became Fubara’s Chief of Staff, receive a bag of money to attack the Assembly Complex on Moscow Road in Port Harcourt.

In his resignation letter, which was sent last week, Nweke made the allegation that the suspended governor had planned to remove President Tinubu from office and had ordered the bombing of the state House of Assembly complex in 2023.
