A gruesome incident has shaken the nation, as 16 travellers were brutally lynched by an irate mob in Uromi, Edo State. The victims, who were mistaken for kidnappers, were attacked and killed in a horrific display of mob justice.

The Edo State Government has also condemned the incident, with Governor Monday Okpebholo vowing to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
