Muslims have been charged to prioritize their family ties and nurture family relationships through mutual understanding and cordial interaction. This admonition was given by Sheikh Imam Muhideen Salmon, the grand chief Imam of Offa, at the 1st edition of the Annual Ramadan lecture and iftar, organized by the Alageere of Ago Are, His Royal Majesty Oba Alhaji Azeez Oyetunde Uthman JP.

Sheikh Imam Muhideen Salmon stressed that Allah prioritizes family bonds in the Holy Quran and loves those who strengthen family ties. According to him, promoting family bonds includes accommodating family members, holding regular family prayers, and regular visitations. He also urged wealthy individuals to extend their support to the less privileged in their families.
