No identifiable political base would not be able to prevent the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027 – Gbaguje

Atiku Coalition Against APC – Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar‘s admission that the ongoing realignment by opposition political figures aimed to dislodge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from office was criticized by Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Thursday.

A coalition of politicians that currently have “no identifiable political base” would not be able to prevent the re-election of the President in 2027, according to Ganduje issuing a brag.

The fact that the opposition movement is comprised of individuals who are unable to come to an agreement on any matter due to their divergent political philosophies and self-serving interests was the basis for his conviction that the President should be re-elected.

IREPORT247NEW reported that a bold move aimed at challenging President Bola Tinubu’s potential re-election bid in 2027, a coalition of opposition leaders has been launched.

The coalition, which was unveiled at a press conference in Abuja, brings together prominent figures from various political parties, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is a key player in the coalition. Other notable members include:

Peter Obi: The Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, who was represented by Yunusa Tanko at the press conference.
– Nasir El-Rufai: The former Governor of Kaduna State and a member of the APC.
– Kayode Fayemi: The former Governor of Ekiti State and a member of the APC.
– Babachir Lawal: The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
– Rotimi Amaechi: The former Governor of Rivers State and a member of the APC.

The coalition’s primary objective is to provide a viable alternative to the ruling APC and to ensure that the 2027 elections are free, fair, and credible. The coalition also aims to promote good governance, accountability, and transparency in government.

The decision to form the alliance was born out of the need to rescue Nigeria from the grip of bad governance and to restore the country’s lost glory. The coalition’s leaders believe that the ruling APC has failed to deliver on its promises and that it is time for a change.

The coalition is expected to have a robust structure that will enable it to effectively mobilize support across the country. A national secretariat will serve as the coalition’s headquarters, coordinating its activities and providing support to its members.

The coalition’s leaders have emphasized their commitment to peaceful and democratic means of achieving their objectives. They have called on all Nigerians to join hands with the coalition to ensure that the 2027 elections are free, fair, and credible.

The launch of the coalition is expected to have significant implications for the 2027 elections. The coalition is expected to pose a major challenge to the ruling APC, and its ability to mobilize support across the country will be crucial in determining the outcome of the elections.

The launch of the coalition by Atiku Abubakar, Kayode Fayemi, Nasir El-Rufai, and other opposition leaders is a significant development that is set to reshape the Nigerian political landscape. With its robust structure and commitment to peaceful and democratic means, the coalition is poised to give the ruling APC a run for its money in the 2027 elections.
