Gunmen Kill Chairman of Miyetti Allah

IREPORT247NEW recorded three Miyetti Allah Leadership deaths this year. One leader was killed in January, two in March, and the motive is unknown. The police need to investigate.

In the Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Muhammad Adamu, the Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), was murdered by assailants on Wednesday.

The deceased was attacked in his residence in Barkin Ladi town immediately after breaking his fast,” said Ibrahim Yusuf Babayo, the chairman of the organization in Plateau, who confirmed the incident.

Babayo expressed his disapproval of the incident and also urged the authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the homicide and to apprehend those responsible for the crime.

Alhaji Danjuma Ibrahim, a youth leader in the community, verified the occurrence as well. He stated that the body of the deceased had been placed at the Barkin Ladi General Hospital, and it was anticipated that the burial would take place on Thursday.

While expressing his disapproval of the act, Danjuma brought to mind that this was the third time that the chairman had been the target of an attack by armed individuals, but they had been unsuccessful up until the most recent attack.

DSP Alabo Alfred, who serves as the spokesperson for the state police command, had not yet issued an official statement as of the time of this media publication.

On March 9, IREPORT247NEW reported that Alhaji Idris Abubakar Sakaina, the leader of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in Kwara State, was killed by gunmen.

According to reports, the incident took place on Saturday evening, after 10:00 p.m., when his assailants approached him and shot him to death in front of his apartment in Oke Ose, Ilorin.

It was reported by a source who spoke to Journalist that the individuals who carried out the shooting left him lying in the pool of his blood without taking anything from him. The source also stated that the reason for their actions was unexpected.

IREPORT247NEW also reported on 5th of January that Alhaji Amadu Surajo, the Acting Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Katsina State, was slain by suspected terrorists when they attacked Mai Rana village in Kusada Local Government Area.

In addition, the assailants killed three more individuals, injured a number of others, and kidnapped Surajo’s first and second wives as well as one of his daughters, a college student.

The deaths of three members of the Miyetti Allah Leadership had been reported by IREPORT247NEW in the first three months of this year. The motive for the killings is not yet known; this is a case of study, and the police force needs to conduct a thorough investigation into the problem. One of the killings occurred in the month of January, and two leaders were killed in the month of March.
