20 Commissioners of Police Promoted to AIGs by PSC.

CPs were promoted to Assistant Inspector-General of Police, DCPs to CP, SPs to Chief Superintendents, and DSPs to SP

20 Commissioners of Police, 19 Deputy Commissioners, thirteen Superintendents, and fourteen Deputy Superintendents have all been promoted to higher positions after receiving approval from the Police Service Commission.

In a statement that was released on Monday in Abuja, the Head of Press and Public Relations for the Public Service Commission, Mr. Ikechukwu Ani, explained this.

According to Ani, the CPs were promoted to the position of Assistant Inspector-General of Police, the DCPs were promoted to the position of Commissioner of Police, the SPs were promoted to the position of Chief Superintendent, and the DSPs were promoted to the position of Superintendent.

A number of individuals, including Fasuba Olabode, Musibau Ajani, Aliyu Musa, Patrick Atayero, Gyogon Grimah, Olaiya Mobolaji, and Chukwudi Ariekpere, have been elevated to the position of Assistant Inspector General (AIG).

The other are: Dan-Mamman Shawulu, Mohammed Dalijan, Alausa Tolani, Godwin Eze, Olalolu Adegbite, Disu Olatunji, and Abubakar Aliyu.

Clement Robert, Ifeanyi Uka, Thomas Nabhoni, Musa Mohammed, and Abel Miri Zwalchir were also promoted. Ajo Ordue, Omole Ola, Usman Tahir, Sunday Okoebor, Ayodeji Faniyan, Saka Ajao, and Omole Ola are among the DCPs promoted to CP

Also included are Stephen Ogedengbe, Olufunke Adeayo, Iyabode Agbaminoja, Adebowale Lawal, Ojo Adekimi, and Yemi Oyeniyi. Olubode Ojajuni, Moses Ottah, Felix Nnebue, Gazali Abdul-Salaam, Fidelis Ogarabe, and Obasi Okereke are among the other names.

There was an examination and an interactive interview for all promoted personnel, according to Ani. This included thirteen special police officers and fourteen deputy superintendents of police.

The promotion procedure was overseen by Mr. Hashimu Argungu, the Chairman of the Commission, with the cooperation of his other commission members.
