Super Falcons midfielder Chioma Olise is ecstatic after Trabzonspor Women secured a 2-0 victory over Besiktas Women in the Turkish Women’s topflight on Sunday. Olise, who made her second appearance for the club, expressed her delight after the game, highlighting the team’s winning mentality.

“I’m excited about the game. We fought hard for the points and got the result we wanted. We’ll keep up the momentum without relenting and approach our next game with full spirit,” Olise said.

Trabzonspor Women’s win propels them to fifth place on the league table with 38 points. They face Fatih Vatan Spor, currently eighth with 24 points, in their next away fixture on Sunday, March 16.

Olise joined Trabzonspor from Nigeria Women Football League champions Edo Queens, signing a one-and-a-half-year contract. The Falcons player dons the jersey number 16 for her new team.
