The NBC has a critical role in regulating broadcast content in Nigeria. The Commission is responsible for ensuring that broadcast stations comply with the provisions of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code. The Code sets out the standards for broadcast content, including the requirement for accuracy, fairness, and respect for human rights.
