After Super Falcons Mentain their dominance as Africa’s top women’s football team, South Africa’s Banyana Banyana are the next in 53rd position, Morocco 61st, Zambia 62nd, and Ghana 66th.
During the process of preview the Super Falcons secured some sucessfull victories over Algeria 2-0, and 4-1, but lost 2-1 to France’s Les Bleues. Despite these mixed results, the Super Falcons remain unchallenged in African women’s football.
On the global stage, the United States remains the top ranked women’s team, followed by Spain and Germany in second and third places, respectively. England, a dominant force in women’s football, sits in fourth place, while Janpan rounds out the top five.
