The drama-filled world of Nigerian politics has taken a romantic turn! It seems like kissing is the new handshake in the corridors of power.

First, we have former President Olusegun Obasanjo sharing a quick peck with Ezekwesili. We’re not sure if this was a gesture of goodwill, a sign of solidarity, or just a friendly peck. Whatever the reason, it’s definitely got people talking!

Then, Senate President AKPABIO is caught on camera smooching his wife (because, well, that’s what married people do!). We’re happy to see that even the most powerful people in the land can’t resist a little public display of affection.

And just recently, suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was spotted kissing her husband before entering the Senate Chamber. Some people thought this was a clever move, given her recent allegations against the Senate President. Was it a show of defiance, a declaration of love, or just a sweet goodbye? Whatever the reason, it’s definitely got everyone’s attention!

It’s all getting a bit too romantic in Nigerian politics! Maybe they’re trying to show the world that even in the midst of drama and scandal, love conquers all? Or perhaps they’re just trying to distract us from the real issues?

What’s next? Politicians exchanging Valentine’s Day gifts during plenary sessions? Or perhaps a parliamentary debate on the best kissing techniques? The possibilities are endless!

One thing’s for sure: Nigerian politics just got a whole lot more interesting! Who needs soap operas when you have the Nigerian Senate?
