At the age of 58, Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole, who had served as the Secretary of State for Kwara State, passed away on Wednesday.
Following her statutory retirement from the Kwara State Civil Service, Oluwole passed away just over a year after her formal retirement.
The governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, issued a statement in response to the tragedy, describing the deceased as an authority figure and an immaculate technocrat.
The governor expressed his profound sorrow on the passing of the former Head of Service in a statement that was later signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye.
He noted that Oluwole was a reliable and dependable expert in everything pertaining to public service.
She had achieved her heights as a result of her perseverance, tenacity, brilliance, character, and immaculate institutional memory.
Oluwole’s achievements and services to the state were described as really outstanding and invaluable by the governor, who expressed his pride in having worked with Oluwole as a respected technocrat.
AbdulRazaq expressed his condolences to her family, particularly to her husband and her father, who was getting on in years, as well as to the entire hierarchy of the state’s civil service employees.
