Liverpool were defeated 3-0 by Reading in the semi-finals of the U18 Premier League Cup.

However, the Royals went the closest of the two teams via Emmanuel Osho. The forward picked up a loose ball outside the area following a corner kick, gathering to curl a shot onto the Liverpool crossbar, with goalkeeper Kornel Misciur claiming the rebound.
Asserted themselves on the tie and just after the hour mark netted three quick goals to take full control of the game.
George Booth scored the first goal with a deflected strike inside the box, with Liverpool unable to clear the ball from the final third.

Kiyan Coke-Miles-Smith won a penalty for Reading and he then converted it which sealed the game for them.
Liverpool attempted a response in the late minutes but were unable to record themselves on the scoresheet.
