In a shocking turn of events, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has debunked rumors that former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, David Shikfu Parradang, was kidnapped and killed. Instead, the police revealed that Parradang was found dead in his hotel room after a visit from a female guest.
According to the police statement, “Parradang arrived at Joy House Hotel on March 3, 2025, and checked into a room after paying N22,000 for a one-night stay.
He then received a female guest, who left the hotel premises around 4:00 pm. Parradang was found dead in his room the next morning, seated in a chair.
The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Parradang’s death and are working to arrest the female guest who visited him.”
The FCT Police Command urged the public and media outlets to refrain from spreading unverified information, including claims of kidnapping, that may incite fear or panic.
Parradang spent over 30 years in public service at the Nigerian Immigration Service, working across the country in various states. His sudden and mysterious death has raised many questions, and the police are working to uncover the truth.
