Ekiti State Polytechnic Appoints New Register

Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti, has appointed Mrs. Abimbola Adewumi as its new registrar, who resumed office on Tuesday.

Adewumi was appointed on January 23 as the second substantive registrar of the polytechnic, bringing with her a wealth of experience and qualifications.

Mrs. Adewumi holds a BA.Ed. in English from the Lagos State University and a Master’s in Human Resources Management from the Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti.

Before her appointment, she served in various capacities at the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, including Deputy Registrar of the School of Business Studies, Continuing Education Centre, and Human Resources Division.

In her inaugural address, Adewumi expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve and pledged to discharge her duties responsibly, committing to excellence and teamwork. She assured the polytechnic community of her unwavering commitment to excellence and pledged to work assiduously to promote the institution’s vision.

The Rector of the institution, Dr. Sunday Ajeigbe, congratulated Adewumi and urged her to contribute to the growth of the institution, stressing the need for strategic leadership and teamwork. He assured her of the management’s support in achieving the institution’s developmental goals.
