Dillian Whyte has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming heavyweight clash with Joe Joyce due to a hand injury,

Organisers are now scrambling to find a replacement opponent for Joyce on the same date.

Whyte (31-3) was due to face Joyce in his third fight back since the collapse of his rematch with Antony Joshua in 2023.

But he tested positive for an undisclosed banned substance in a pre-fight drugs test, leading to the bout being called off.

In the same month he returned to action, stopping Christian Hammer, and followed up that win in December by retiring Tetteh on his stool at the end of the seventh round in Gibraltar.

Whyte, is aiming to rebuild his career after significant setbacks.
