Akari overcame Farm Fresh in five sets en route to a 25-11, 23-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-9 victory in the qualifying round to book a quartefinals ticket in the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL)

Meanwhile, the Foxies dropped into the play-in tournament, joining Chery Tiggo and Nxled in Pool B. High flying Trisha Tubu headlined the losing Farm Fresh side with 23 attack points, while Alyssa Bertolano, who was the other Foxy in double-digit scoring, added 13.
