Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle was spotted at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. Kano Pillars played host to Enugu Rangers in a Week 26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) fixture.
It was the Malian latest trip in the NPFL. They had been to Lagos a little over a week ago. The purpose was to watch Ikorodu City take on Plateau United.

After touring Europe to become familiar with top Super Eagles players, more players are expected to make the list. The tour took place ahead of the resumption of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March. Players in the domestic league would also be on the provisional list to be called up.
Nigeria Super Eagles will take on Rwanda in Kigali on the 21st of March. Five days later, they will host Zimbabwe in Uyo at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Nigeria have played four matches in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers. They are winless in Group C. They have just three draws and a defeat, garnering 3 points in the process.
