PASTOR Under Investigation: Family of Missing LASU Graduate Demands Answers

A Lagos-based pastor, Superintendent Evangelist Whepetoji Babaniyeh, of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Ileri Oluwa Parish, LASU 2, has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of 28-year-old Ogunbode Quadri Adedamola.

Quadri, a 2024 graduate of LASU’s Political Science Education Department, was last seen near the church premises on January 16, 2025.

His family revealed that he was on a phone call with his girlfriend at the time of the incident. “He told her he was near the church when someone from inside called him. That was the last time anyone heard from him,” a family member said.

The pastor has yet to confess to any involvement in Quadri’s disappearance or disclose his whereabouts. “The last we know is that the pastor has yet to confess or reveal where Quadri is,” the family source stated.

The investigation is ongoing, with the police working to uncover the truth behind Quadri’s disappearance.
