A group of top government officials, corporate executives, investors, and innovators from Nigeria graced the stage at LEAP 2025.

It is the world’s biggest technology event. The event was hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The delegation confidently showcased Nigeria’s growing significance in the global digital economy, leaving a lasting impact at the event. Folajimi Daodu, the dynamic CEO and Founder of Vault Hill, led this historic representation, highlighting the nation’s potential on the international stage.

Through his strategic leadership, we ensured Nigeria was present at talks. Nigeria was also actively impacting topics such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, climate technology, investment, and digital transformation.

LEAP 2025 provided an unprecedented platform. It strengthened Nigeria’s position as a dominant player in global innovation and economic growth. This was made possible by the fact that Nigeria’s technological ecosystem is gaining international prominence.

An amazing lineup of industry experts and policymakers joined. They were part of a strategic representation of Nigeria’s Best Minds delegation at LEAP 2025.

Each of these individuals contributed unique thoughts on the future of digital transformation and economic development.

According to the statement, Maria Dervenco, the Chief Operating Officer of Vault Hill, spoke about artificial intelligence. She also discussed blockchain technology and data sovereignty. She highlighted Nigeria’s role in digital identity and artificial intelligence.

Oludele Awodele, a professor at Babcock University, delivered a thought-provoking session on artificial intelligence, data sovereignty, and blockchain technology at the event. She examined how these technologies will shape the education sector and ensure digital equity.

Prof. Leonard Uguru, Commissioner for Finance, Ebonyi State, took the stage in a high-level panel discussion on “Regulation vs. Innovation,” highlighting Nigeria’s balanced approach to fintech policy and economic growth.

Olu Oyinsan, Managing Partner of Oui Capital, made a presentation on Bridging the Digital Divide & Financial Empowerment. He highlighted Africa’s potential in digital finance.

Both presentations occurred simultaneously, featuring Ladun Awobokun, CEO of FilmOne Limited, who underscored Nigeria’s thriving film industry. The discussions focused on leveraging artificial intelligence and augmented reality in filmmaking and storytelling.

Folajimi Daodu, CEO of Vault Hill, delivered two impactful talks. The first, “Global Perspectives on Impact Investing,” highlighted Nigeria as a key destination for tech-driven investments.

“The Role of AI in Merging Gaming, Fintech, and Digital Assets” was the topic of the second presentation. It highlighted Nigeria’s innovative capabilities in the rapidly developing digital economy.

Henry Mascot, the founder of Curacel, led discussions on Next-Generation Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). He also spoke about the Future of Fintech Innovation. This further emphasized Nigeria’s preeminence in the field of fintech.
