Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, marked his 83rd birthday on Sunday, receiving tributes from prominent figures.

Celebrating Daddy G.O

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, described Adeboye’s life as a beacon of humility, dedication, and spirituality. He stated, “Celebrating Daddy G.O. @ 83! On behalf of the government and good people of Ogun State, I heartily congratulate our revered father in the Lord, @PastorEAAdeboye. Your unwavering commitment to the service of God and humanity continues to be a source of inspiration to millions across the world.

“Your life of humility, dedication, and deep spirituality has not only strengthened the faith of believers but has also contributed immensely to the moral and socio-economic development of our nation.” Abiodun further prayed for divine blessings upon Adeboye, wishing him “many more years in sound health, divine wisdom, and peace of mind.”

Saraki’s Tribute

Former Senate President and Kwara State Governor, Bukola Saraki, acknowledged Adeboye’s significant role in transforming lives through the RCCG. In his tribute, Saraki wrote on X: “Happy birthday, Pastor Enoch Adeboye @PastorEAAdeboye. The First Lady of Osun State, Mrs Titilola Adeleke, described Pastor Adeboye as “a true son of Osun State, a father to nations, and a beacon of faith and righteousness.” She highlighted his humble beginnings in Ifewara, Ile-Ife, and his rise to become a global spiritual leader whose life exemplifies the transformative power of faith, discipline, and service.

“Daddy G.O., as he is fondly called, is not just a spiritual giant but an embodiment of humility, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to the service of God and humanity,” she wrote. Adeleke also acknowledged Adeboye’s remarkable contributions to education and youth development through the establishment of Redeemer’s University.
