Bayern Munich battled from a goal down to move 11 points clear at the Bundesliga summit after emerging 3-1 victors over Stuttgart on Friday.

Angelo Stiller rifled Stuttgart into a 34th-minute lead with a fine individual effort, gathering Josha Vagnoman’s pass before sending the ball beyond Manuel Neuer’s grasp.

Vincent Kompany’s side restored parity just before half time, with Michael Olise slipped in by Leroy Sane and curling his strike into the top left-hand corner.

Bayern completed the turnaround just after the hour when Leon Goretzka stole possession inside the Stuttgart area and finished past Alexander Nubel from close range.

Kingsley Coman punished another error from the hosts to seal the win, with the Frenchman intercepting Josha Vagnoman’s poor backpass before rounding Nubel and finishing from distance.
