Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has approved the regularization and absorption of 415 temporary health workers into the state’s pensionable workforce.

The regularization exercise was held at the Staff Development Centre in Abeokuta, where the Permanent Secretary of the Hospitals Management Board, Olayinka Elemide, thanked the governor for his kind gesture. Elemide described the regularization exercise as “unprecedented in the history of the state”.
The 415 temporary health workers, who had been working in various state-owned hospitals, will now enjoy the benefits of permanent employment, including job security, improved pay, and access to training and development opportunities.In response to the governor’s gesture, Mr. Sanni Akanni and Mr. Geminiyi Jacob, representing the beneficiaries, promised to reciprocate the kind consideration by improving their dedication and service delivery.
