The Bauchi State Coalition of Christian Youths and Elders in Politics has made a commitment to provide complete support for the political future of Governor Bala Mohammed.
This support includes backing any candidate that Governor Mohammed proposes for the office of governor as well as other elected positions in the year 2027 from the Christian community.
The coalition, which was led by the chairman Joel Joshua and the secretary Danladi Audu, praised Governor Mohammed as a “Christian-friendly, multi-religious, and multi-ethnic leader” who has ruled without favoritism. The news conference took place yesterday in Bauchi.
In addition, the group requested him to take into consideration the request that he run for the presidency of Nigeria in the year 2027.
“We wish to add our voice to the numerous calls urging Governor Bala Mohammed to run for president in 2027.
“He is one of the few capable leaders who can salvage Nigeria from its socio-economic and security challenges. Our prayers and support are assured.”
