*NPFL Reschedules Two Matchday 26 Fixtures Due to Broadcast Demands*

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the rescheduling of two Matchday 26 fixtures, citing broadcast demands as the reason for the change.

The affected matches are Rivers United vs. Katsina United and Bendel Insurance vs. Ikorodu City, which were initially scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 26th. The games will now be played on Thursday, February 27th.

According to Davidson Owumi, the NPFL’s Chief Operating Officer, the rearrangement of the fixtures was necessary to accommodate broadcast demands.

Owumi emphasized the importance of ensuring that all necessary measures are in place for hitch-free games.

The remaining Matchday 26 fixtures will proceed as scheduled on Wednesday, February 26th.

The NPFL has urged all participating teams to ensure that adequate arrangements are made to facilitate smooth and successful matches.

This development is part of the NPFL’s ongoing efforts to enhance the league’s organization, visibility, and overall fan experience. With the rescheduling of these two fixtures, the NPFL aims to provide a more convenient and accessible viewing experience for fans and broadcasters alike.
