Protoclone, the first synthetic human robot.

An expert created a robot with lifelike movements using synthetic muscles under translucent skin.

Polish Startup Clone Robotics posted a video of its faceless, anatomically accurate synthetic human ‘Protoclone.’

The first bipedal, musculoskeletal android, Protoclone, has false bones, joints, tendons, and muscles.

It features a human-like body and realistic movements compared to other robots.

This anatomically precise prototype has over 200 degrees of freedom, or movements.

The bot’s 1,000 myofibers and 500 sensors provide it with environmental awareness.

The prototype employs pneumatics, but the company plans to upgrade to hydraulics, which uses pistons and fluid.

A 500-watt electric pump circulates water like a human heart in Protoclone.

The company’s covert development workshop has a 6-foot prototype machine hanging from the ceiling.

It twitches its limbs with its head bent in a video posted online.
