The Fallujah Shopping Mall in the Yola neighborhood of Adamawa State was completely destroyed by a fire that broke out late at night on Wednesday.

According to a statement released by the National Emergency Management Agency on Thursday, the fire that began at approximately 8:30 p.m. also resulted in the destruction of the commodities whose value had not yet been determined or determined.
In addition, the statement said that the intervention of emergency personnel prevented the fire from causing significant damage despite its initial severity.
The statement read, “A fire incident occurred at the Fallujah Shopping Mall in Yola at approximately 8:30 pm, yesterday (Wednesday) night, destroying property worth millions of naira.
“The incident sent flames and thick black smoke into the sky, causing panic among residents and business owners in the area.
“No casualties have been reported. However, 12 shops were completely consumed by the fire, leading to significant losses, including phones and accessories.
“Firefighting operations have been concluded, the affected area cordoned and authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.”
