Dr. Danjuma Adamu Ismaila has been appointed to the position of Rector and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) in Zaria, which is located in the state of Kaduna.

This appointment was made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Bayo Onanuga, who serves as the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, made the announcement of the appointment in a statement that was released yesterday in Abuja.

Dr. Ismaila, who is an expert in the administration of air transportation, the economic policy of transportation, and aviation security, offers a wealth of knowledge to the leadership of the most prestigious aviation training school in the country.

Following his graduation from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, he went on to get a degree in Physics in 1989. Subsequently, he went on to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation.

Throughout the years, he has participated in a wide variety of training sessions, workshops, and seminars that focus on the management and transportation of civil aviation.

Dr. Ismaila was a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation in Daura, which is located in Katsina State, prior to his appointment.

During his time there, he made a significant contribution to the academic and professional development of future professionals in the transportation and aviation industries.

As a result of his appointment, it is anticipated that the National Aviation Training Authority (NCAT) will expand its role in training aviation professionals, improve Nigeria’s aviation business, and align the institution with worldwide best practices in aviation technology and safety.
