As part of his plea bargain application. Evans has offered to surrender all his property, including 14 new trucks, to the Lagos State Government.

The proceeds from the sale of these trucks would be transferred to the victims of his criminal activities.

This is not Evans’ first attempt at seeking a plea bargain. He previously approached Justice Adenike Coker of the Ikeja High Court on January 30, 2025, with a similar request.

Evans and his co-defendants, Joseph Emeka, Victor Aduba, and Linus Opara. Are facing a five-count charge bordering on conspiracy, kidnapping, and attempted murder.
