Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy firmly criticized the ongoing negotiations between Russian and US officials. These talks are taking place in Saudi Arabia. On Tuesday, Zelenskyy asserted that Ukraine is being unacceptably excluded from critical discussions about its own future.

During a significant official visit to Turkey, Zelenskyy stated, “These vital talks address key issues surrounding Ukraine. They are being held between representatives of Russia and the United States. Ukraine itself is conspicuously absent from these conversations.” He stressed the need to include Ukrainian voices in such discussions. They are crucial for addressing the nation’s security, territorial integrity, and democratic aspirations. Zelenskyy called for Ukraine to be involved in all dialogues affecting its sovereignty. He emphasized how crucial it is to participate directly in shaping international negotiation outcomes.
