PPP Summit to Focus on Innovative Solutions for Housing Deficit

Nigeria’s housing industry stakeholders are set to gather for the Renewed Hope Housing PPP Summit. These stakeholders include private sector developers, investors, financial institutions, and multilateral housing organizations. This landmark event aims to unlock the potential of public-private partnerships to accelerate housing delivery and urban development in Nigeria.

The summit will provide a national platform for dialogue. It will bring together government representatives, private sector players, and international development partners. They will explore innovative financing models, regulatory reforms, and investment opportunities. These discussions will drive large-scale housing development, addressing Nigeria’s significant housing deficit, which has grown to 28 million units.

Vice President Kashim Shettima will attend as the Special Guest of Honour. The Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa, will deliver the Keynote Address. Notable attendees include Senator Aminu Tambuwal. He is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Housing. Also attending is Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. He is the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum and Governor of Kwara State.

Industry leaders and policymakers will deliver technical paper presentations. They will cover topics such as investment prospects in housing PPPs. Other topics include regulatory reforms and policy frameworks. A key outcome of the summit will be a clear policy direction for housing PPPs. This will provide a structured framework for public-private collaboration. It will also align with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
