Edwin Clark, who had previously served as the Federal Commissioner for Information and as a South-South Leader, has passed away.
On Monday evening, the leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) passed away at the age of 97, as said in a statement that was signed by Professor C. C. Clark on behalf of the family.
It reads, “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February, 2025. The family appreciates your prayers at this time. Other details will be announced later by the family.”
A few days have passed since the passing of Ayo Adebanjo, the leader of Afenifere. The age of Adebanjo was 96.
