Aircraft Crash:Delta Airlines Turns Over in Toronto(Video)

On Monday, February 17, a Delta Airlines aircraft overturned and made an inverted landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Eighty people, including passengers and crew, were on board the airplane.

The incident happened at approximately 2:45 p.m. local time, and the Federal Aviation Administration reported that everyone had been evacuated.

The aircraft, a Bombardier CR900, had just flipped and landed upside down after taking off from Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Toronto, Canada.

Flights have been rerouted to other airports due to the temporary closure of the Toronto airport.

Peel Regional Paramedic Services reports that 15 individuals have been sent to the hospital.

Two adults and one child had serious injuries from those injuries.

According to officials, the remaining injuries are slight to moderate, as CBS News reported.

Delta acknowledged the occurrence in a written statement and stated that it is investigating further information.

According to a spokeswoman, the airline would release information when it becomes available.
