The super eagles coach of Nigeria, Eric chelle urged to recall Ahmed musa back to the national team ahead of the 2026 world cup qulifiers against Rewanda and Zimbabwe in march.
The 32-years old captain has not played for Nigeria since their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations preparation clash against Guinea.
But due to World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe coming up in March, former Julius Berger midfielder Edema Fuludu believes Musa experience would be needed.
Fuludu said Super Eagles are in mostly in need of results to put our World Cup campaign back on track, and I feel someone like Ahmed Musa has a crucial role to play.
Musa has been playing for Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League, and his presence in the domestic league proves he still has something to offer.
He added If Ahmed Musa can come back and play in the Nigerian league and stabilise Kano Pillars on the table, there is nothing wrong in including him in the Super Eagles squad for the World Cup qualifiers.
As the super eagles coach eric chelle currently arranging his team, musa can still play a vital role in team. we all know ahmed musa as one of the most dedicated players to play for the national team.
He has not officially announced his retirement from international football. I believe he still have some roles to play in the team.
