In light of the growing number of tributes to the late Afenifere leader Pa Ayo Adebanjo, one of his daughters, Mrs. Adeola Azeez, revealed yesterday that her late father might be buried in May, contingent upon the family’s agreement.
At the age of 96, Pa Adebanjo passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025.
Mrs. Azeez refuted the earlier claim that the family had decided to bury the late Afenifere leader in April when she spoke to reporters at the family’s home in Lekki.
She said, “We are considering May but the family will meet and decide on a date.”
