The dead body of a Nigerian police inspector has been found in an hotel room in Ogun State.
Inspector Haruna Mohammed was found dead on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the hotel located in Anthony Uzum Estate, Oyeyemi Akute, according to reports, he had checked into the hotel around 1:00 a.m. with an unidentified female seems to be his companion.
The incident was discoverd by the hotel manager who noticed the room they logged was left unlocked by 8:52 am Upon inspection, she found the inspector’s lifeless body, but the woman no where to be found in the room.
The hotel owner alerted the authorities.the memo also revealed that the missing woman had been seen at the reception around 6:00 a.m., where she requested a bottle of table water.
The Law enforcement officials have said the inspector’s death as unnatural his body have been taken to Life Channel Mortuary in Olambe as investigations continue.
