The rebuilt Chief Yesufu Abiodun Oniru Road, Akiogun Road, an alternate route to Admiralty Circle Plaza in Lekki, and Abudu Smith Street have been put into service by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The roads are situated in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area’s Iru Victoria Island Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

Sanwo-Olu said, “Today, we officially commission two projects under the LASG Infrastructure Project. This initiative is a major step toward enhancing transportation and the overall quality of life for our citizens.

“Improving this road will make navigation easier for residents and visitors alike.

“These projects reflect our commitment to building a world-class city that meets the needs of its residents.

“Investing in infrastructure is crucial for economic growth, improved mobility, and a better quality of life for all Lagosian.

“Together, we will continue working to create a functional, prosperous, and sustainable Lagos for future generations.”

Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, Secretary to the State Government Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mrs. Mojisola Meranda, represented by lawmaker Bonu Solomon of Badagry Constituency 1, Special Advisor to the Governor on Infrastructure Olufemi Daramola, General Manager Rodinis Gian Lucature, and other important government officials attended the event.
