Sola Ajayi, a dedicated staff member of Oyo State’s broadcasting corporation, BCOS, is enduring a challenging time as he remains confined to a hospital bed at The University College Hospital. In a heartfelt plea for help, he has shared his struggles following a tragic accident where a commercial motorcycle struck him while he was completing an official assignment near his workplace.

Sola is now facing an uphill battle not just with his health but also with allegations involving the leadership of the Rattawu union at BCOS, particularly Comrade Kolapo Carew. Recent reports reveal that Carew is currently under investigation for alleged fraud and financial misappropriation, adding to the intensity of Sola’s distress.
Amidst these challenges, Sola claims that a crucial donation of 2 million Naira, provided by Governor Seyi Makinde for his surgery related to spinal injuries, has not reached him. This donation was made in response to the alarming news of Sola’s condition, yet his current circumstances have led to skepticism around the amount.

In a poignant “Save My Soul” message, Sola has accused Comrade Kolapo Carew of withholding this vital assistance without any reasonable explanation, resulting in further suffering during an already difficult recovery process.

It has become increasingly evident that Sola’s health is deteriorating due to the lack of support and the uncertainty surrounding the funds meant to aid in his recovery. The situation highlights the urgent need for compassion and transparency, as Sola continues to fight through pain and uncertainty in hopes of recovery.
