Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna, has called on former Governor Nasir El-Rufai to accept Senator Uba Sani as the state’s current leader and follow his vision.
Hunkuyi also urged El-Rufai to seek forgiveness from Kaduna residents for alleged wrongdoings during his tenure as governor from 2015 to 2023.
It’s worth noting that Hunkuyi and El-Rufai have a complicated history, having parted ways while both were members of the APC. This rift led to the demolition of Hunkuyi’s house on El-Rufai’s orders. Despite this, the APC in Kaduna has declared its support for Governor Uba Sani, commending his transparent and inclusive governance style
