The executive secretary of the Osun State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (O-SACA) Olusegun Daramola has announced today that there will be distribution of free condoms to Osun State residents tomorrow Friday 14 February 2025 been valetines day.
He explained in his statement that reason for this move is to remind people to promote safe sex on February 14, free condoms and lubricants will be distributed at different malls and lounge across the state.
Daramola noted the occasion of Valentine’s Day celebrations is an opportunity to promote awareness and prevention of HIV/AIDS. he added that HIV/AIDS remains a significant public health threat to the society, making it important for the residents to avoid unprotected sex.
The government of Ademola Adeleke is committed to reducing HIV prevalence in Osun State.
