All of Ambrose Alli University’s satellite campuses in Ekpoma must close immediately, per an order from the Edo State Government.

Umar Ikhilor, the Secretary to the State Government, signed a statement on February 11, 2025, directing that all programs and courses be held exclusively at the university’s main campus in Ekpoma.
It read, “In line with Governor Monday Okpebholo’s commitment to raising the standard of Ambrose Alli University and the government’s significant investment in the institution, all satellite campuses operating outside the main campus are hereby shut down with immediate effect.”
The Governing Council and university administration have been instructed to adhere to the new policy, it added.
