The Lagos state Chapter of The Union Of App-Based Transporters Of Nigeria has Mourned the Sudden Death of One of it member Yusfat Ayinde A 42yrs Old Man, He was stabbed to death by Unidentified assailiants.
The Chairman Of the Union Jaiyesinmi Azeez, confirmed the incident, He explain that the deceased was on his normal work duty, when he was Attacked that evening.
He said Ayinde received a ride request through the e-halling app and he arrived at the location, that was when he was ambushed and attacked by some group of armed hoodlums.
According to him, He was stabbed several places on his body by the hoodlums before his vehcile was taken away.
He said Comrade Yusfat Ayinde is one of our member and Admin body of the professional chauffeur in the State he was murdered in a brutal attack, by unidentified assiliants, it gathered that the deceased’s remains where dumped along the Agindigbi Road in ikeja area of the state from where it was conveyed to the morgue.
Azeez expressed concern over the safety of other members of the union.and advocated increased in security measures for driver in the state .
