The kidnapping of three Federal College of Agriculture, Akure students who were working at a farm close to the Akure Airport in the Oba-ile neighborhood of the state’s Akure North Local Government Area has been confirmed by the Ondo State Police Command.

The victims, who are students participating in the farm’s Industrial Training (IT), were allegedly kidnapped on Saturday night as they were on their way home. Funmilayo Odunlami, the Public Relations Officer for the Ondo State Police Command, confirmed the event to reporters and stated that the command’s anti-kidnapping agents had been sent to the region.

Adetunji Adeleye, the state’s Amotekun Corps Commander, also attested to the occurrence. He mentioned that in an effort to find the victims, his team and other state security personnel were traveling over the entire region.

According to a family source, the kidnappers have contacted the victims’ relatives and demanded a ransom of N15 million.
