Florent Ghisolfi, the sporting director for AS Roma, acknowledges that they had to operate under UEFA’s transfer market rules.

Ghisolfi disclosed that UEFA has imposed spending caps on transfers due to previous financial difficulties.

“The club signed a settlement agreement with UEFA in 2022 in spite of a significant financial deficit,” he told Corriere della Sera.

This is the third and most constrictive of its four seasons.

Despite the fact that some squad members’ pay have grown in accordance with their contracts, we have tried to reduce the salary cost by more than 20%.

“We need to be reasonable and believe in a big plan that includes the new stadium and the centennial in 2027.”

“There is a 30 km/h speed limit,” he continued. However, since we were caught going 50 in the past, we must go at 20.
